The mission of the Memory and Media Project is to bring psychological and emotional support to patients and families living with Alzheimer's disease through the creative process and end product of multimedia portraiture.

Creating a video portrait is a collaborative project involving the portraiture subjects who provide stories, photographs, and music, and a video artist who collects and assembles these artifacts into a digital video. We believe that the act of articulating memories and emotions, and weaving them together with other media elements enables us to respond in a meaningful way to a disease that often disempowers those whom it affects.
